    Almost too big to use!

    These are a lot bigger then I imagined… almost too large to use properly as they don’t both fit well in one hand together. They are heavy stone and they have the little imperfections you’d expect from real stone. Not a huge fan of the sound of grinding stone over the chimes of the metal ball ones though. Overall these are decent though.

    Use for physical therapy

    I bought multiple sizes. A physical therapist used these for hand exercises. The weight helps strengthen the muscles. Helps with coordination.

    Came with flaw

    One of the balls has a flaw that was somewhat buffed/polished out, but has left an obvious imperfection. Easy to disregard if you are using for simple hand exercises, but impossible to ignore if using as a focus for meditation.

    Great

    Love these. Perfect size and they look great. It was shipped a day late. One of the balls had a crack that went all the way around it. Things happen. I sent it back and replacement is on its way. I’ll update this when it arrives. Update…new ones arrived and they look great. Couldn’t be happier

    Packaging is problematic

    I’ve ordered (and returned) this item twice. I love the look of the stones. However, they come packaged in a decorative box that, while attractive, provides no barrier between the two spheres. This means that during transit the stones bump into one another and become chipped and damaged.I think just wrapping one stone in a bubble wrap would help to eliminate (or at least greatly reduce) the damage that occurs during shipping.Love the stones, but sent back because the chips create an increase in friction which makes these stone balls much less pleasing to hold than the traditional metal ones. If they fix the damage that occurs during shipping, I would order this item again.

    BEAUTIFUL BAODING BALLS

    These were for my husband and when they arrived, I fell in love with them, and almost hid them from him. Alas, they are too big for my hands. I can not explain their beauty, they are so exquisite in person then in the on line pictures. He loves them also.

    Baoding Balls are of poor quality, but the box is kinda nice

    The baoding balls I received were not the same size, with one being significantly smaller than the other. This makes them not only less comfortable to use, but they also fit poorly in the box. There are indentations in the bottom of the box to hold the balls, and where the larger one fits nicely and stays still the smaller one rolls around the bottom of the indentation since it is too small to fit. Both balls also had long circular scratches around their circumference, probably a result of poor machining work to shape the stone into balls.They are still technically functional, the product was relatively cheap, and the box is nice enough to slip another better set of baoding balls into. But I would recommend looking for a different set of baoding balls. Given the defects in both balls, I fear the machines they use to shape them are probably not good.

    Exactly as advertised

    Got them exactly when they were scheduled to get here. There’s only one tiny surface blemish on one ball, and given the type of stone it is, that was fairly surprising. I thought for sure there would be many more. The box is far higher quality than I thought it would be and makes for a nice display piece itself. All told, I’m very happy with the quality, especially for the price, which could easily have been higher.

    They’re okay. First off description is wrong it says 1.75 inche in diameter, it is actually 2inches, which isn’t a huge deal I have bigger hands so the fit is good. Unfortunately, I was specifically trying to get 1.75 inch boading balls to match the size of a different set which I already have so not being as advertised is lame. As for the look these are great lots of pattern with some color variation. They are much lighter, in weight, then I had imagined. It says these are solid marble but they are so lite that it makes it hard to know for sure. Overall, I think these are a decent value but if you want something heavy go with steel ball bearings, these seem to weigh about the same as traditional baoding balls half their size

    excellent product but not 1¾” dia

    The quality of the product was great but the description stated that these boading balls were 1.75″ in diameter but I received 2″ diameter balls. I actually already have a set that is 1.5″ and another that is 2″ so these were not what they were supposed to be. :/

    These have great color and seem to be high quality–no chimes which is what I wanted. However, they are larger then I had hoped. My hands are on the smaller size for adult women, but I can barely rotate these without feeling like they are going to drop. Wish they were a tad bit smaller–kids will have a very hard time enjoying these. I’d say these are a great size for medium to large hands.

    One ball in each hand works for me!

    These are too big to use both of them in one hand. However, I can roll one in each hand while driving or doing anything else not requiring finger control. My doctor says osteoarthritis comes and goes, sort of like a sine curve, perhaps in three-month cycles. Inexpensive, but you’d never guess the price thanks to the high quality.

    Brittleness requires careful use

    Fresh out of the box, the two exercise balls seemed much larger than the advertised 1.75 inch diameters. While I was rolling them around in one palm, I felt some roughness as they moved. Closer inspection showed that a chip about 7-8mm had started, and even fell out while I was looking at it. I’m sending the pair back for a replacement of the same item–hopefully with no further manufacturing flaws.I’d recommend spending the extra money to buy metal baoding balls, especially stainless steel ones. They’ll last virtually forever with a bit of minimal care after use. The “stone” ones don’t seem to be very durable when they get beyond 1.5 inches in diameter.

    Watch Out

    Had sharp edges on the ball surfaces. Could possibly cut your hands if using for stress relief. Would definitely cut more sensitive areas if used for pelvic floor strengthening.

    Even better than i’d hoped.

    I didn’t know what to expect with these, I ordered them mostly from nostalgia of a relative that haf them. Tbh I think I love these more than the past ones, they are nice to hold, stay cool for longer than a metal ball, although they dont get as cold as metal one would, but when they hit each other they clak like Billiard balls, which is oddly satisfying. Friends who come iver almost always grab these. Great for people with anxiety and stress. :]

    Very Nice!

    These balls are smooth and pretty. They are the perfect size for smaller hands or beginners learning how to maneuver them in your hands. Once you are better, then you can graduate to a bigger size. Love the box that they come in too.
