Helps with painful pelvic floor and spasms…less helpful for bladder leakage

Unlike a lot of reviewers, I have never had children but I did have a hysterectomy in my late 20’s. I have suffered from painful pelvic floor spasms, and occasional bladder pain from the pelvic floor muscle knots, for years. I also have suffered from a little bit of leakage (just when I laugh, sneeze or cough) from time to time. I have gone to PT a couple of times and it helps with the pain, but things tend to flare up from time to time and the advice and exercises they gave didn’t always help with the pain. I have been using this for several months now and it is a game changer for pelvic floor muscle spasms.I use it with AUVON 4 Outputs TENS Unit EMS Muscle Stimulator Machine for Pain Relief Therapy with 24 Modes Electric Pulse Massager, and I alternate between the TENS mode and the EMS mode. I think the EMS mode helps more with the bladder leakage and the TENS mode helps more with muscle spasms. I had a really bad bladder infection right before I got this, and my gynecologist (who specializes in pelvic floor issues) said that the muscle on one side of my vagina felt like a rock. I was in intense pain for over a month. I used the crystal wand, but it didn’t help. He wanted to sent me for more PT, but I really didn’t want to go in the COVID environment. I was absolutely miserable, so I decided to try this. I honestly found about 80% relief from the pain by the 2nd time I used it. Within a few more days the month long pain was totally gone.I have continued to use it in an attempt to stop the leakage. I do feel like I am stronger, and the leakage may be less, but it definitely hasn’t gone away. I am hopeful though, and will keep using it for leakage. For muscle tightness, spasms, and bladder pain though it has been a HUGE lifesaver!

Not deep enough but can be pushed deeper past the “lip”

Edit 2: I have a TENS 7000 and the following settings, with the plug at full length, were really fun and caused nice, relatively gentle, repeating muscle contractions…Modulation mode, at 64Hz, width 80us, dial at 5.5 but adjust slowly up based on your comfort level. Baring down a bit (not all the way) and sitting on the probe to help it stay deep, adds to the pulsing fun.Edit: I learned during cleaning that the “lip” is adjustable. Unfortunately there were crazy-basic picture instructions and it wasn’t clear that the disc/stop could be twisted and moved. I bumped to 4 stars but better/more obvious instructions would get it a 5.Not very deep. The ring/spot/divider needs to go deeper for it to work for me. Could use a longer one but with the same electrode points. Would help hit “the spot”. Was able to just push it deeper and actually hit the prostate. Needs a lower setting but feels great! Lowest settings, Burst, Power 3, Rate .5, hours Width 50, with a proper TENS unit. These losers settings are already very intense if at the prostate.

    I’ll be frank. It works!

I bought this to alleviate bladder leakage. We know that childbirth comes with a plethora of hardships; forever peeing ourselves shouldn’t be one. So I bought this and the Auvon ems/tens unit. The connections fit perfectly. VERY IMPORTANT: YOU NEED AN EMS UNIT. TENS DOES NOTHING. (TENS is for pain relief. EMS is for excersize.) It doesn’t come with instructions, but you insert the exerciser with the metal plates pointed at each thigh (not pelvic bone to tail bone; also useless). Anyway, after very few uses I noticed a difference. I no longer have to pee-pee dance while unlocking the door when I get home. It has cut back the urgency feeling from frequent to rare. The one major con is if you’ve had an issue with tightness this compounds it. Paps and sex may be uncomfortable. I bought ToyLife cleaner which you just spray, let it sit for 60 seconds, rinse, and allow to dry. I’ve progressed to 40 mins a day, but use it sporadically because I forget. Included are pics of the connection, EMS unit, and my settings. This device is definitely a quality of life improvement.

    thi REALLY works!!

so I will be honest I am an older lady in my 60’s 2 children (average size vag births) as I got older about 10 years ago it started very little at first and I would use a liner evenually used a pad….well here I am using the number 6 strongest pad at night and a number 4 during the days… for a while I ate pumpkins seeds and did kegals every day and it helped some, but you get busy and forget….If i slacked off for a couple of weeks I would have a moment…I would be standing there and the pee fell out down my leg..I had no sense of feeling like I had to go….that is my history. I looked at those kegal weights before but I thought they would just fall out, like the ken wa balls did, ,,,so I ordered this probe along with the health mate forever…….use a little water based lube…..I tried different settings and go with the wrist one ….the unit is on you don’t feel anything so you keep hitting the plus button and the strenght goes up little by little, which I was really relieved about…. I didn’t think it was doing much i was in bed watching tv that first night counted to 200 ( clean with soap and water and wipe down with rubbing alcohol before and after use…that is the instructions….That night I fell asleep with out my number 6 pad..BUT I woke up dry the next morning!!!!!!! I was shocked!!! if I slack off a few days then I need to do it some more, but over all very good results I have much more of a sense of feeling of WHEN I need to go….tye OTHER thing that happened even though this is the vaginal probe and that’s where I used it when I got up the next morning after that first night I had had a little swelling in the anal area a little varicose veins, well when I got up the swelling was gone. we are adults and I think it is important to talk about this problem honestly I hope my story helps others out there

    Sneeze without fear

I read an earlier review on this contraption and thought I’d give it a try. I’m 61 and my pelvic floor muscles just aren’t what they used to be. I tried my kegel exercises and I can’t even tell if I’m doing them…yep,,,pretty bad. I’ve been wearing super thin panty liners for awhile because I sneeze quite often, and I’m tired of the outcome…ugh.Like the previous review stated,,this is not for thrills- think of putting your tongue on a 9 volt battery. It’s a slight electrical surge that causes the muscles to tense. It’s a little irritating & I can’t help but think it could be used as a torture device, if set on high….(word of advice)…don’t set your device on high. There are brief but efficient instructions on how to use. I used a teeny bit of mineral oil to add a bit of moisture. I definitely keep my tens device on a low mode- just enough to get the contraction of those muscles. I have done these exercises for about 15-20 min, twice a week, and I must say, I am sneezing with much less worry. Do I still get an occasional surprise,,,yes but I figure it’s because I’m a wimp and I probably use a lower mode than others might. If I kick it up a notch, I’d more than likely get better results. Ladies, don’t be shy about keeping yourself healthy and keeping things working properly. People are out there, inventing things to help us do just that.

Designed for females, but males can use it. Use with a good EMS unit for best results.

Very useful Kegel device that uses 2.0mm leads and a 2.35 shielded plug (for a TENS 7000 or for TENS/EMS units). No other leads or plug heads will work, unfortunately. For best results use with a EMS device (i.e. ISTIM 804 or 805) that actually is a EMS(!) device and that you can “program” to your specific needs. Most so-called EMS units don’t work very well or are NOT user programmable, but come with maybe 8 fixed, undefined programs. You can use your TENS 7000, but it isn’t really made to do EMS muscle contractions, which is what kegels are all about.Individual settings on the iStim 804/805 models will vary by individual preference and severity/type of incontinence, but you need at least 20-30 minutes per day, 5-7 days per week consistently as soon as surgery (i.e. prostate for males) allows. Better late than never however.First, Lube well with a water based gel or lubricant. Bend over or lay on your side with leg drawn up. Insert probe deep enough (flange is not sticking out!) with metal sides facing your hip bones. Insert it slightly past your sphincter! Then Sit or lay down. Then turn on your EMS. When your EMS unit is turned on, You need to “feel” muscle contractions. If not, increase your intensity setting VERY SLOWLY to achieve it. Remove the probe when done by NOT pulling on the wire but on probe’s round end. Pulling on the wire will eventually remove it from the probe . Don’t pull on the wire!It is 2 1/4 inches long by 1 inch wide at its tip (approximate). It is not a sex toy.

Wish I would’ve ordered this a long time ago!

I’m 46 years old, and I’ve had four 8 lb babies vaginally. So needless to say, between the babies and my age, things weren’t very tight down there anymore. I leak every time I cough, run, jump, sneeze, etc. And adult time with my now husband of average size sometimes ends with us both being disappointed, and I know its because of my outstretched lady parts (even though he swears its not lol). Anyhow, for the last year I’ve been looking into kegel exercisers, but was hesitant on spending $200 or more. I already had a tens/ems unit, so one day I got the idea to Google whether there was way to somehow use it for my vaginal muscles. And this little thing came up on the first page. After reading the reviews, I ordered it and couldn’t wait to try it. Didn’t tell husband, I want to surprise him if it works. It looked really small and I was concerned when i took it out of the package, but it fit even me perfectly inside. So far, I’ve only used it once, but it worked great. I set it to the EMS knead setting on my unit, and I had no problems feeling my muscles contracting as soon as I turned it up to 3. I ended up turning it to setting 5 for 30 minutes, and I feel like I accomplished a couple hundred kegels. I’ll do this a few times a week for the next couple of weeks and update. I can’t wait to see if it works when I hop around on my exercise trampoline, and if myself or my husband starts to notice any difference during sexy time.

    Got rid of urge incontinence

Urologists gave me various meds that didn’t help. By the time I saw a gynecologist, I couldn’t do kegels effectively. I was embarrassed by wearing diaper-sized pads. I finally found real results with this and a TENS unit. I wish it had directions, though! My gynecologist wasn’t helpful in providing directions, so I had to ask a physical therapist how to use it. Basically she said to turn the TENS unit on to the point I could feel it. I used it a few times per week and within a month I didn’t even need pantyliners. I would recommend it to any woman with incontinence.

If you had a baby – get this!

I had a baby and my pelvic floor basically went on vacation and refuse to come back from holiday. I bought this to help re-strengthen my pelvic floor and help with the incontinence issue I experienced from giving birth.I was skeptical as well as very nervous to use this being you are putting electrodes right in your baby maker. But I love using my tens machine on other muscles in my body so I went for it. This was a great bye! After using it once I noticed a difference in my ability to “hold my P “at least long enough until I can get to the bathroom. It’s not some thing that you can wear walking around or doing anything at home. So you really need to set aside a time a couple times a week. If I’m being honest that’s been an issue for me still. But I’m giving this five stars because I know if I were to stay on top of it I would have even better and faster results. My only note to consumers is to check the type of connections your tens unit has to make sure this will work with it.

    It’s working

So, this little device is wonderful. I use it with my tens unit, I purchased several years ago. It works really well. I have had issues making it to the bathroom without leakage. Then, I had the need to urinate almost every 2-3 hours. My bladder wasn’t emptying .I have been using it for two weeks. Now, I may go to the bathroom around 3 -4 times a day, with no leakage. This is a massive improvement. Highly recommended!

    It’s not small at all!!

It’s really big and uncomfortable. Whoever said it was smaller than their pinky finger has a big ass pinky finger. It’s about the size of a bottle of nail polish. It feels incredible if you play around with it 😉 but used properly, it does feel a bit uncomfortable and definitely helps with kegels. I wish it was smaller so I could use it easily.

    Trying for Forceps Birth Trauma

I bought this after reading about kegel therapy. My doctor kept telling me to do kegels to heal my vagina after an intense forceps birth, but I lacked the strength to squeeze those muscles even the tiniest bit! The trauma just totally tore apart my vaginal wall, and atrophied my clitoris (sorry, tmi). Holding in urine during the smallest chuckle was near impossible! After using this with my TENS for a few days, I am already noticing improvements and am starting to gain the strength to do kegels on my own. This device is the answer!

Good stuff for kegels times 10.

I (38f) just bought this piece and the auvon tens/pms unit separate. I have only used it once but when I use it on percussion setting, dialed up to level 2, I could feel the muscles contracting and releasing. This is what a kegel is supposed to feel like. I used it for 30 minutes and it’s equivalent to doing at least 100 kegels. I think my pelvic floor already feels stronger (maybe??). I will update review after a month or so. Can’t wait to see if he notices a difference in bedroom.

    Tightens the Vagina!!!

This comes in a small package. Nice after 5 kids all born vaginally. I used it with a regular tens unit set on BURST II mode with asymmetrical waves with 45-50 hertz and 200-250pps. At that setting for 15 mins it gives two quick muscle contractions per second. That is not the recommended device or setting for usage. I haven’t bought the actual tens device that is used for pelvic floor muscles. What I can say…After just 3 days of use both my partner and I could tell a difference. After using it for 3-4 weeks now, about 2 times a day skipping at least 1-2 days per week, I can tell a HUGE difference. My vag feels so much tighter than before. My partner is more excited about sex. It makes him feel very large and manly. As for incontinence, I only had very small leaks when I coughed or sneezed really hard. I also didn’t feel like I could fully empty my bladder. Now I have not noticed any leaks and I am now feeling like I am able to empty my bladder. Worth every dime I spent!!!! Highly Recommend!

Game changer!!! It will save you so much money!!!

I am so thankful for this product. It has helped me with my stress incontinence caused by two pregnancies. I went to physical therapy and was having little to no improvement with my bladder leakage even though I followed all of the exercises. Before using this probe, I was not even able to feel a kegel or a contraction at all. After the first use, my bladder leakage almost completely stopped. I could cry for joy! It has changed my life for the better. And although I do not use it everyday as recommended, I still feel much stronger as a result. It isn’t the most comfortable thing to use because of the electrical stimuli, and it has it’s drawbacks such as the length (it’s a bit short) and one probe is stronger than the other, but it’s definitely worth the price. A unit specifically designed for the same purpose is two to three times more expensive. Simply make sure you purchase an EMS/TENS machine as mentioned in other reviews for around $30 with the correct wire connections and you’ll be happy you did! Also, don’t forget the water-based lube.Another drawback that I failed to mention above is that the probe does not come with any instructions. It would be nice to have a little something from the manufacturer since it’s a bit intimidating at first…Go change your lives, mamas!

    EMS unit settings.

Instructions are lacking on the settings to use with an EMS unit. I’ve seen a lot of questions, including myself on what settings to use. After looking, I found great instructions for another brand’s kegal unit and wanted to share. See chart page 15.https://images-eu.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/A1AwVm6WoIS.pdfNote: this is for the EMS setting not the TENS setting. They are different. Think about it, for kegals we need to contract the muscle to tone it. That is EMS. So make sure your unit is set on EMS mode. I have no clue if TENS mode provides similar results, but all the kegal stimulators You can buy are using EMS.I got the IStim804 TENS/EMS unit. Being my first time, I tried a lower settings 120 width (um), 20Hz, ramp=1, On=4 (contraction hold)and Off=10 (rest) as I didn’t know what to expect. Over the course of 20 minutes I ended up following the chart (300 width, 50hz, same ramp/on/off times). Afterwards my muscles felt worked, almost like mild cramps. I’ll scale down tomorrow and keep this updated.

    It’s working!

I gave birth to twins and my bladder hasn’t been the same since. I’m also a runner, and that’s a bad combination. I tried doing kegels and even saw a physical therapist about it, but it’s been pretty bad leaking during my runs. On my long runs, I’d soak through a menstrual overnight pad AND soak my underwear and shorts. So embarrassing! I stumbled across this product and decided to take a chance since the reviews were mostly positive. I’ve used it 4 times now, and I noticed a difference after the very first use! And I ran 8 miles this morning and even though the pad was full, it didn’t leak out onto my underwear/shorts, which is a huge success for me! I ran a shorter distance yesterday and the pad was really pretty dry. I’m optimistic that it’s going to just continue to improve from here. I’m so thankful! My husband has noticed, too.I bought the Tens 7000 to go with it and followed the advice of another reviewer for setting it up. No problems whatsoever. Here’s what I did:230.5 hz4 on dialTurn on AFTER insertingTurn off before removing!Good luck!!

    So far, so good

Why does Amazon offer a video review option for this? I mean, C’mon…really?? Anyway, I birthed 4 kids & had one lady-bits surgery for an unrelated tear that would give you nightmares to read about. The end result is that halting the piddle surprise no longer a zippy sportscar that will stop on a dime; it’s more like praying that the triple-trailer semi truck won’t crush a city block when the brakes fail.So I got this, as Kegals just weren’t making a dent. Other reviewers have had amazing success in a shorter period of time than I’ve been using this, but I can say that I have improved from stopping the gigantic semi to halting a school bus with enough time to save the undies if wearing only a light duty pad with a month of use. It’s not nothing.

    immediate improvement

product arrived today safely in standard Amazon shipping packaging, in a nice black ziplock carrying case with the istim logo on it, cord wrapped with a plastic tie, and with instructions and other information provided on an enclosed sheet. I have a TENS 7000 and used that. The ‘male’ cords that came with the TENS 7000 were compatible with this product, with zero hassle. Product was a bit larger than expected based on pics in other reviews, but still manageable, and worked well with a water based lubricant. I set the TENS 7000 to ‘burst’ (like a pulse or intermittent setting) and adjusted speed so muscles would have enough time to both tense and relax between pulses, then used the lowest intensity level possible that still sufficiently activated the muscles. I’ve been experiencing early menopause due to endocrine reasons, and between vaginal atrophy due to that and my vagina’s “robust” life experience, I was experiencing difficulty with urinary incontinence and having a harder time achieving orgasm. I have used this product twice now, for 30min and then for 15min with a few hours in between, and can already tell a difference in tightness. The actual experience of using the product was strange at first, but the fact that it’s this effective makes the very mild (and mostly mental) discomfort completely tolerable. Will continue to use twice a day and update this review if my opinion changes. For the price, yes, I think this product is worth it. I didn’t get any free anything or discount or ANYTHING for this review. I’m just genuinely impressed.

Rebuilding muscle on the way to even sphincter control.

First of all it’s thin enough to not feel… invasive. However the head is broad enough to not slide out suddenly. I noticed a gap in my muscle control due to Parkinson’s. By leaning more pressure to that side I can direct most of the stimulation through the weak area. In less than a month I’ve noticed improvement. Water based lubrication prevents the spiking burn some complain about. And it is best to pre-lube the path. If you have an applicator (like an oral syringe) a good glob of lube on the inside will also help prevent arcing if the probe gets pushed in deep and the front band loses contact. (Ouch)I use it with a TENS 7000 and get good control. Dialed to 3.5 Modulation. (150hz x 300) for 15 mins.I also tried the 1 lead on the “upper perineum” pad path. It was messy and not pleasant due to nerve damage. Maybe I should have dialed it down instead of unplugging and plugging the unit.

    Uncomfortable, did not shock muscle

If you’ve used a TENS or EMS before with pad electrodes you know how those work. If you use them like they are intended, they shock the muscle to make it contract. They don’t generally burn or “hurt”, its more or less a jolt. Those electrodes are usually gel pads and they conduct electricity into the tissue well. This electrode however is metal with direct to tissue contact. The way it worked for me felt more like a sizzling burn, and that was on the lowest setting. The more I turned it up, the more of a burn feeling I got. I did not experience muscle contractions at the settings I got up to. I tried it multiple times with lots of different settings, and of course water based lube, and I never had a different or better experience. I’d say at least check around at other devices and reviews before you buy this one. Maybe you find one better priced. This one seems really expensive for what it is, a tiny piece of metal and plastic.

    Works Great, Well Made

Product works well for erotic stimulation with units such as the TENS 7000, also available on Amazon. This is a bi-polar device, but it can be used as a mono / single-pole device. I personally prefer to utilize this as a single pole device for prostate stimulation and then use a gel style pad for the second electrode. Good locations for a second electrode include any part of the penis, inner thigh, and on the buttocks (With my personal preference in that order).Do not forget to purchase some electrode gel to utilize this product (I like the Spectra 360 electrode gel from Parker).Overall, this is a quality device that will last a long time if treated well and properly cleaned and stored after each use.

After 4 kids. Tried this. No more panty liners. Life is good.

This review is not intended to provide or replace medical advice. This is my own personal story. So this is going to be a personal one. I nearly didn’t write this. But I’m going to take one for the team here and fully disclose. Ladies…I thought I was doomed to the threat of a sneeze since the birth of my first child. Fast forward 9 years, and I had 3 more kids. Sneezing is something of a delicate art form to avoid a small urine leak. I don’t always succeed so I have had to wear thin daily liners for nearly decade. I hate them. But I hate the embarrassment of the leak and the need to change clothes afterwards.Apparently, the U.S. gynecology training does not include anything more than “do your kegels…Do 10,000 kegels…do them while you are sitting at a stoplight…While loading your laundry…while watching television…disrupt whatever you are doing just to squeeze yourself uncomfortably…over and over…without tiring…every. single. day…..for the rest of your life…and you “might” not sneeze and pee…”Yeah. Maybe some people can make that work. After about 5 though…I’m either distracted or just kind of uncomfortably tired of trying. I forget about it for days…until I sneeze.I don’t know how I found it, but I stumbled on electronic Kegel stimulators. Basically, it “forces” the body to gently do a Kegel without you having to consciously manipulate your body. I nearly pulled the trigger and bought a “Yarlap” even though it was nearly $300. However, something kept getting my attention. The way the device worked sounded suspiciously like it was nothing more than a Tens Unit with a special wand and a cheap hand held interface.I actually spent some time researching this. I was surprised that these “tens unit style kegel trainers” were something commonly prescribed in Europe for people with my problem. You can look it up yourself. There are actually quite a few peer reviewed articles. It showed amazing success rates and I kind of felt “dumb” that I didn’t know about this. All this time, I could have been so much more “comfortable” in my clothing and all I needed to spend was $30. Sheesh. My suspicions were correct. They are nothing more than Tens units attachments. I already own a Tens unit – this one – https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00O7CM12W/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1It's a HealthmateForever unit and it cost less than $25.For $30 (since I already owned the Tens unit), this was worth a shot since it was a tenth the cost of the others. This device fits the Tens unit perfectly. Apparently, this device is made to fit nearly “all” Tens units. If you look at it, it’s nearly identical to the “Yarlap” insert. Even the connection wires are identical. Basically, Yarlap found a way to market to the U.S. what everyone in Europe has been doing and uncharge it by 80% (device + tens unit). Hey, I applaud their ingenuity. Apparently, they have specific “programming”. I don’t know what to make of that now that I’ve done this for a few weeks. I don’t know what “programming” you need. You just need the “squeeze” to happen. How to use: Finding this out was a little challenging.-Basically, you will need some water based lubricant. Insert it just inside so that the metal sides are facing either hip. This isn’t gong to go far inside like a tampon.-Turn on the device and select “Knead”. At the lowest setting, I barely felt anything. Surprisingly, you need a higher setting for this to work than you do if you are trying to use the standard pads on your back for muscle stem.- You want to slowly raise the setting one bar at a time.- When you feel the kegel happen, it should probably be just strong enough that you also “pucker” in the…ahem…anterior…area. You’ll know if you go one level past comfort. It doesn’t “zap”. It’s just more of a squeeze than you want. Dial it back 1, and you are good to go.- On the knead setting, it will stimulate the kegel contraction and hold it for about 4 seconds, release for about 3-4 seconds, and repeat. I think it may help if you actually “help” the kegel along and squeezing every once in a while with the contraction – kind of like pushing during a labor contraction….(which is kind of how we got here…) It’s not necessary. I only started doing that after about 9-10 uses. I can tell though that my squeeze is so much stronger now.- Drink your coffee, read the news, catch up on a favorite show. Try not to move around much. The insert is hard so it’s not comfortable to move a lot. When you are resting (usually I’m reclining on pillows in bed), it will do its work. It’s silent too.- Do this for about 20 minutes. You will be surprised, but the 20 minutes will go by quickly and you won’t notice that you just completed your first 170 kegels. If you forget about it, like I strangely do, you will probably get to 200 easy. That’s about 195 more than I’ve ever done on any day in my entire life.Is this a “stimulator”? Eh…no. Not really. You aren’t going to get a “thrill” from this any more than you do when you complete a kegel manually. Sorry ladies.Having said that…it does have some “ancillary’ positives not related to relieving urinary incontinence. It seems to make other situations more…let’s just say more. Hubby noticed a serious change during intimacy after about 5 uses. That’s kind of awesome! After about 5 uses (about 3x per week), I noticed I probably didn’t need a panty liner anymore. After about 9, I quit wearing them as a test. I haven’t worn a liner in 3 weeks. I haven’t had a single incident. Not. One.I feel more like “me” again. I can run, jump, laugh, sneeze and live with very little threat of a problem. I don’t know that I’m cured now and for always. I can’t say if I’ll never have an accident. If I do, I’ll get this device out and do a few sessions. I don’t even think we need to do this for a long window of time. I love my kids so much and even if this wasn’t a fixable situation, they are truly worth it. The fact that this “is” fixable…Like I said.. I feel dumb. I mentioned this at my OB/GYN appointment. She hadn’t heard of it although she recommended the kegel balls which require manual kegel training. I love my doctor. But she missed the mark on not knowing about this. For $30…ladies…seriously…It’s one of those “quality of life” changers.

Easy to use, both relaxing & stimulating.

Very brief instructions so I tried it today with my TENS 7000 with just using random letters on the control knobs & buttons. Drop of lube on tip. Sitting on it is easy to get it in deep. Electrical impulses contract the rectal muscles & is very enjoyable. Insertion dial locks into spaces so you don’t have to pull on the wires to get it out. Be careful to start low because the higher TENS setting can be surprising.Well worth the money. Nice sex toy for self play.

I thought it wasn’t compatible my level tens unit, but it is! (My unit came with an extra cord)

I noticed results with the k-fit kegel toner machine I purchased on Amazon so quickly (for urinary stress incontinence it is absolutely fantastic!). I actually saw in the instruction booklet that it has a male adapter plug spot (it also came with an extra cord to make any different probes adaptable with the unit). I have had 4 children (some with an episiotomy and all with tears)…so my pelvic floor hasn’t been great, especially now that I’m in my 40’s and going through hormone changes/premenopausal state. Hemorrhoids especially have been part of my life on and off since having children, though have become significantly more severe this past year. I read another review stating the anal probe helped another woman with that problem, and although it doesn’t sound fun, I was convinced I needed to try. At first, it was an odd feeling with pain-almost like pin pricks (even at the setting of 4-with plenty of lube). Directions show level 30 is needed to start seeing results. I’ve realized this is a process, you start low and work your way up. Also, using this in the morning before getting up is significantly better (for some reason my tolerance is better and/or the heaviness of the day hasn’t happened and I’m able to go much higher on the level, starting low and pushing thr button to work up as the “workout” progresses). After 4 uses I’m now able to get to level 30. I can tell this is bringing circulation to the area (which is step one with helping to repair the tissue). I am very hopeful the results from this will mimic those on the vaginal side. PS, the small size is the only reason I gave this a chance. I completely feel the pulses, though again I purchased this to help the pelvic floor and not for pleasure….my vote is it’s small though the feeling is very, very strong! Why are these common to improve life in countries with socialized healthcare and a secret in the US???? I’ve been telling all of my female family and friends, so they can enjoy the benefits of a strong pelvic floor and not stressing about a sneeze or cough-and the added side effect of increased libido is absolutely AMAZING too!!!!!

Two devices in one, and some tips re probe usage

I bought the iStim TENS device and this probe to address my annoying stress incontinence. I wanted to get the same brand device/probe and the iStim device had good reviews. Unlike the Yarlap and a few other pelvic floor strengthening devices on Amazon, the iStim device doesn’t have programs specifically for that issue and no settings for it are in the manual so I was on my own.A few tips:- I found out the hard way that the knob at the top of the iStim doesn’t just turn the chosen channel (there are two) off and on, it also changes the intensity, so be careful when you increase/crank it up. This is confusing, as inside the little door on the device there are not just buttons to choose from among the many the modes/programs (see iStim reviews…..remember, no programs are specific pelvic floor/probe settings), but also increase/decrease arrows for the pulse rate and width. So, I thought that was the only “intensity” control.- If you want to feel what is going to be going on inside you and make sure the probe/device are working, you can touch the metal part of the probe with a wet hand…mini shock! So you don’t want to be inserting it when it is revved up as you will feel that all along the delicate skin of the route into the placement area. Insert it first and then select settings that work for you. I find 120 to start a good level, and 30Hz. (Remember I am winging it, so choose your own comfort/effectiveness level.) I used the modulation mode.- I can feel the pulses more, and more pleasantly, when it is in the lower pelvic muscle area (isn’t our g-spot around there? It’s not THAT pleasurable anyway, despite what some loving husbands say in reviews re their wives’ results). If you insert it deeper you can still feel it is working and I think that is an area I need to tone up too so I have been doing 20 minutes in each area. I do feel quite a difference in the tone of the muscles and my ability to tighten them when my annoying allergy-related cough comes on. The Yarlap has wonderful reviews and the benefit of having select programs for mixed, stress and urge incontinence but I am not able to afford it ($269 on their website with their current $30 coupon, and free shipping and 60 day return policy). This seems to be a good alternative for $60 (for iStim and probe.)Side note: in some research I found that people treat bladder issues by using the TENS or EMS device without a probe, by placing the gel pads in the sacral area. I dunno….doesn’t seem like that would be as effective as the contractions created with the probe but I might do that too since the pads and lead wires came with the iStim.Speaking of which, I also have neck pain from degenerative disk disease (thanks, aging, the gift that keeps on giving!). Last night I tried the gel pads with the iStim and it did help. Unlike the you’re on your own probe usage, the manual has lots of info on where to place pads on your body and what levels to use. It’s nice to have one device (small and easy to take with you when you travel) that handles two important issues.I would recommend the iStim AND the iStim probe. I would have given the probe 5 stars if it had instructions re which levels/modes/programs to use for pelvic floor strengthening.

Purpose-made, Well -made, just one complaint…

This is one of three different styles of internal electrodes made by iStim. Each one for a specific purpose. This one’s claim to fame is that it’s made NOT to disappear and create problems requiring help. The only internal option for men wanting to exercise their PC muscles or strengthen their pelvic floor. Women have more options. External electrode sticky-pads are also an option, but not as targeted or easy to use IMHO.Unfortunately, one very important detail is missing from the instructions included with any of the internal probes: setting to use on your EMS machine. Sure, you can “trial and error”, but something definitive from the manufacturer would do a lot to bolster confidence and overcome hesitance to use the device. As the instructions that come with iStim’s EMS/TENS units are otherwise quite specific, the lack of any mention for setting for the internal probes is a glaring omission.I also didn’t find any such guidance in their web site. Too bad. An obvious omission.

    Great Core Workout!!!

I placed it next to a toothbrush because that’s more of a standard over my hand.Ok many reviews I read said that the kneading was the best setting for the TENS unit, but I found that too constant and annoying. If you don’t like a little pain, stick with the kneading. I use it with the depth setting at its deepest setting. If you maybe have a tiny pain kink, use the acu setting. It’s either acupuncture or acupressure but it goes through a cycle. It starts out fine, just a buzzy feeling but then it goes into an almost pin poke sensation. It truly makes you flex the muscle it’s poking lolThen when you think you just can’t take one more poke, that fades away to an amazing buzzy/contraction.The complete tens unit cycle wants to run for I think 60-70 minutes. With each of the ACU cycles being maybe 3-5 minutes? I didn’t time it, but I should have. I did not make it through the full 60-70 minute cycle. Each cycle of the ACU setting seemed to “wake up” more and more muscles as it went.My core flex was all the way out to my ribs when I finally threw in the towel. I was a giant pile of sweat like I had just completed a hard workout. Also – I have seen men comment on how great it feels on the prostate, I don’t have one of those- but the general muscle contractions in that general area felt very nice. I was for sure chasing an orgasm by time I finished my first use.I used it again this weekend so I think that was two weeks between. This time it still flexed my core and when I got up and moved around after I could really feel it in my core. I assume as my muscles get stronger it’s going to feel different each time. It’s amazing what it has done for my core! I’m 53, post menopausal and had a potato 🥔 shaped body a couple months ago. Now I’m getting my waist back and when I sit down my belly is the same as when I stand!

    Super fast shipping, works great.

Shocked at the negative reviews as this works great with my tens unit. Make sure the battery is charged and you won’t have any problems with the strength.Only complaint I have is that it’s a bit too small, wish it was a bit larger as it’s not too much bigger than a baby pacifier. You really have to “clamp down” to make sure it stays in place which in itself gives a good workout. If you insert it too far you won’t feel anything because it only works when touching the actual muscle. Can definitely feel it working, can’t wait to see the results after using it for awhile.

Wish I’d known about it sooner!

I’ve been using this for a month and it works well. After suffering for a *long* time as a result of near rib-breaking bronchitis episode, decided to try this route to relieve stress incontinence symptoms before heading into a pelvic therapist. At least for me, it’s not a one-week magic cure, but after a month can now cough or sneeze without worry. Jumping-jacks can still be an issue, but expect that to resolve as the muscles get stronger.A few notes based on other’s questions and what I’ve found:Nickel: I tested the metal on the probe w/ a nickel test solution and it came up clean (whew!). Last thing you want is an allergic reaction up in there.Settings: If you are using a TENS/EMS unit that isn’t programmable but just has programs like accupuncture, cupping, kneading, etc, this could work if you choose an EMS (not TENS) setting. I had trouble finding a program that felt right (just my preference), so purchased an additional TENS/EMS unit where I could make my own program. From reading various papers and manuals from kegel units online (those that actually publish their settings), the range below seems the most recommended. Note that the precise settings seem to vary by country, thus the range. Don’t consider this medical advice – please do your own research (and these were for stress incontinence, urge or general maintenance will differ):pulse width = 200-300, frequency=30-50Hz, ramp time=1 second, work time=5-6s, rest=8-15s, program duration=20 minutesPlacement: the metal bits should go side-to-side (facing hip joints) and not back-to-back. Because body angles and even time of month can change exactly which muscles are activated, the sensation may vary from session-to-session. It also seems to be normal that the intensity setting on the probe may be a fair amount higher than settings you would use for pad placement on the skin.Leads: Note that you’ll need to supply your own lead connecting the probe to your unit. The probe accepts 2mm pin connectors. Make sure the lead you have is that size and the plug is the correct size for your unit. If your unit didn’t come with that size of lead, you’ll want to order one.Lube: Note that you want a water based lubricant for better electrode contact and, per various resources, make sure to avoid ingredients like glycerin and sugars which could promote yeast infection.Used consistently, seems like should get positive results. Definitely worth a try before spending too much money on physical therapy.

    Joined the multi-O club!

The iStim anal probe (giggle) has changed my life for the better. I used it for prostate pleasure with an analog Roscoe Medical TENS 3000(TM). Until today, I was very envious of my multi-O friends. Not anymore!Fisrt time I used it, meh. Second time, wow. Third time, OMG. I turn the dial to a certain level, and the O immediately starts… and it doesn’t stop until I turn the dial back down. Flexing the PC muscle increases the sensation.Other prostate toys don’t work even remotely as well for me. I think it has something to do with sphincter discomfort. The iStim anal probe is much thinner than I expected, and very comfortable there.Be warned: It’s very easy to get carried away and overwork the abdominal muscles. Follow the manufacturer instructions for safety. For settings, I used Mode B, Pulse width 260, started at lowest intensity and gradually increased. Having a partly full bladder seems to enhance the experience. I used a water-based lubricant, as it’s more conductive than silicone. My success may have been related to having been doing kegels for a few months; I’m up to 20 sets of 20-second holds and 3 sets of 45 quick pulses.

Hits the right spot at a good price

Paired with the zeus battery powered electrosex box. Works better than their other model anal estim which is heart shaped with a finger pull loop. This one has an adjustable collar to let you set the depth to which the plug penetrates. The rings on this being completely around the plug instead of one surface to each side like the other plug mean the charge is distributed better so no “hot spots” where the charge is too strong. Not obvious in the pics, the body of this is ceramic coated solid metal so this is sturdier than expected. The other model died due to the cord fraying at the join to the body. The join in this one is a bit more robust but I do think that after many uses the cord join is the most likely point to fail. Still at $25 I think it should last well long enough to get your money worth. My new favorite toy.

    100% worth it

So I had one of these (different brand idr) years ago and I could really feel that one working when it was in. Fast forward probably about 4 years into the future and I have just had a baby. I order this one because who doesn’t need help with kegals right after having a baby (or just whenever) the first time I used it I couldn’t feel ANYTHING going on down there. I just assumed it was a less powerful probe, was a little disappointed yeah but just said what the heck I’ll keep using it because I already bought it. So now another 2 months in the future and I can really feel it!! Like back to pre baby feels down there. I obviously just didn’t even realize how stretched out my hoo ha had gotten from giving birth and using this has helped a ton! on a side note I do not do kegals at all on my own because I’m lazy and a new mom and I only use this probe maybe 1 or 2 times a week so it’s not a crazy rigorous routine at all. 100% worth it

    Restores muscles like a badass

This is a God send. If you are a female who has had children, csection sisters included, or if you are a woman struggling with incontinence, this is a miracle device.I’ve done a billion kegels. Things down below weren’t bad, but they just weren’t quite what I wished they were. After stumbling across a post from an American woman stationed with her family in France, I found out that French doctors use some kind of tens machine to stimulate muscles for women after birth to help restore vaginal strength. I googled and stumbled across this device.I’m telling you, the miracle is not just how it stimulates the muscles, but that it helps you feel your muscles and do better kegels during use, as well. Think of it as an encouragement for the vaginal workouts. My husband and I both noticed a difference within a few days, and within a couple weeks I felt youthful as hell.Sex is better, my muscles feel completely engaged and I feel like I got back the majority of what I lost after babies.I can’t recommend this enough.Seriously, give it a go. Engage your muscles and get back that youthful glow ;).And some incredible sex.

    Believe

I am dumbfounded. I believe in miracles, already. I read the reviews. I looked up scientific opinions. I struggled with the hope. I believe in miracles but I’ve accepted the fact I will urinate on my clothes when I cough. When I sneeze, I crafted a fun physical response called “the mommy cross”. You cross your legs and sneeze, always helped…ish. I accepted picking up my 50 lb child from my bed to bring him back to his, would illicit me urinating down my leg and finishing that off with a shower. Id accepted getting a cold with a cough and wearing depends till I was better because every cough pushed out urine. 26 years. I accepted it. Till I used this accessory. Now I’m angry this isn’t handed out with a prescription from your gyno ob after giving birth. Angry, I’ve dealt with this for 26 years. And ecstatic. Ecstatic, I haven’t had an accident since I started using this. Literally after the first use I felt a difference. I told my friends and I’m telling you, stress incontinence after children isn’t forever.

    Too narrow for reliable contact

I’m using this probe with the iStim EMS machine to help with urinary urgency. The probe is very narrow with an odd-shaped tip. It is easy to insert. The issue I have is that if I shift my body, the contact changes and the intensity of pulses being delivered by the EMS increases or decreases. This is caused by the narrow diameter of the shaft.I’ve ordered a K-Fit extended probe to fix this problem. It’s 6-inches long and an inch in diameter. This might provide a better fit. Be sure to lubricate with conductive gel. I use Spetra 360. It is a good lube and assures reliable contact between the probe and the skin.

    It really works!!! BUY IT!!!

So I wanted to start off by saying I rarely write reviews but felt this would benefit other women in doing so. I’m a mother of 4 all vaginal deliveries. I recently had a baby six months ago and I could definitely feel the difference. I order Kegel balls but I never had the time and I wasn’t sure if i was even doing them correctly . I felt my bladder was also weaker and I would have to run to the bathroom. It was very embarrassing for me. I came across this and thought I would give it a shot , I had nothing else to lose especially for the price . So far I have used this twice for 30 mins . My husband told me what was I doing because I felt so much tighter. I also felt the difference as well!!! I’m so happy I tired this product .

    Nicely packaged!

I’ve had the vaginal probe in my wish list for several months now, but was hesitant from purchasing via Amazon due to not being sure if I would end up receiving a refurbished unit, or something that wasn’t hygienic. To my surprise, the probe was inside a sealed plastic bag, within another zip locked bag.I have yet to use the probe but I am excited to try it out. I’ll adjust the rating once I do (if need be).Update:8/10/2020Used it last night and it worked well with my StimRx 2500 Russian Stim Machine! At the begging the probe was slipping out but to remediate the issue I placed a towel high in between my thighs (base of vag) and closed them shut to ensure the probe would be stopped from being expelled. I believe u could do the same if u leave your panties on, but for some reason I felt I needed the towel I case I became too wet 😉

    Jfc my vag is yoked.

Yo if you sneeze, cough or laugh and pee a little check this out. It doesn’t hurt at all, and it works the entire pelvic floor. I’ve been doing manuals faithfully for like 20 years. Its never worked work this well.I did two twenty mins sessions (while watching tv and not paying attention) and even that post-Colorado cough isn’t worrisome if you catch my drift 😅I’m not getting paid to say this. I’m just a gal who was tired of peeing a little when I laughed a lot, and now I’m a just a gal with a vagina that can lift weights, call someone a nerd and shove them in a locker.

    IT WORKS

So got a driving job driving big box truck, you are unable to park at a most gas stations and just run in. So have to hold it for hours. That was hard and i would have leaking or accident problems.Ordered this after I read the top review, lady had 3 or 4 kids peed when she laugh said it worked.WELL IT DOES!!! Been using it 4 times a week 20mins a day for for 9 days plus kegels while i am driving. No more leaking or accidents. And my man wont leave me alone now. Says i am alot tighter down there. (Tmi i checked myself I AM!)I got the healthmate forever controler to go with it and love it. Best $70 ever spent. Going to the gyno cost more than that! Hopes this helps some ladies with bladder or love.

    Better than I thought

I was worried about using this due to where it goes and what it does… but it doesn’t hurt and it doesn’t get you all hot to trot or provide weird results. It works well to strengthen those inner muscles of your lower lower core where control is important. I am on the computer a lot so I sit waaaay too much. I need to strengthen muscles in weird places as I’m getting older and don’t want to have to rely on adult diapers in 20 years from now.

    Inexpensive and effective.

I had been looking for an eStim device for this purpose for quite a while, but they were so prohibitively priced. I needed a TENS/EStim unit anyway, so I decided to give this very reasonably priced item a try.I’m glad I did. I am struggling with pelvic pain and pelvic floor dysfunction. Perhaps it’s too early to call, but it seems to have made a difference in just a few days.Make sure it’s where you want the action before you turn it on; otherwise, you’ll get a little zap. Of course, for some, that could be regarded as a bonus.

    Definitely works!

I bought this just because I had 2 kids and although all is well and I don’t have issues sneezing or jumping, I feel like kegals are daunting and none of us are getting younger. It works! It makes things much closer to ‘pre baby’ status if you catch my drift. I also use an ems belt for ab repair after babies and it has worked wonders…six pack is starting to show. Wohoo!

    Will help if you’re deticated

Follow Melissas advice in the reviews. I almost bought this whole set and the other ones because I didn’t know what I was buying or doing. Just wanted to find something to use along with tightening pills.I bought the same box she did and this probe. I use the acupuncture setting on level 4 because it holds the kegal for a good 5-10 seconds instead of 3-5 in the knead. So far, I can say that it has helped. For reference, I have had 1 kid and 22. Bounced back eh. After about 4, 20-40 minute sessions, it’s tighter than bolt.It is the first win in over a year of trying to fix my lady. I’m so damn happy I found this and that review of that lady

Anal Prob – Amazing product for constipation

My father in law is in his late stage of Parkinson’s, loosing most basic ablity to do his daily bodily functions. He has to relay on prescription and enemas to relieve constipation. However the frequent use of enemas, its solution caused irritation to internal tissues. So families of other Parkinson patients recommended us to pruchase this product. I used on my Panasonic muscle stimulator (bye) and they are competible. With some vaslines, it goes into anus easily and only took less than a minute before he is ready for the toilet. It is easy to clean, we just rinsed it with the shower hose and spray it with rubbing alchohle. He still has to take prescriptions but this is a good replacement for enema.

I think this will do the trick.

I don’t know what to think yet. I realized after doing it 5 days a week for 3 weeks that my physical therapist had recommended spending time relaxing the muscles too and that I needed to space out the sessions so that it was every other day so that my muscles could relax. She had mentioned that muscles that get too tight can also be a problem and cause of leakage. I took a break for a few weeks while on vacation so I’m back to it. So far I haven’t noticed much change, but I will update after doing it for a month. My muscles are very weak so it’s going to take time.

Although it is small, it doesn’t have to be any larger to work properly.

The little white disc is adjustable to set the insertion depth. The shortest insertion depth is about the right placement. If you insert it too far, you may not feel the stimulation. Use an adequate power unit like the Tens 7000, not a low power unit you may have received with another product.
