Just the right size and density to deeply massage sore muscles after a workout. More effective than my foam roller and easier to pack when traveling. Wish I had bought these sooner.

Work like a charm
These work so well to get kinks out! I use them for self massage against the floor or wall. Works great for shoulder blades and lower back. A bit smaller than a tennis ball.

There are 2 of the same size balls
The photo suggests that these are two different sized balls but they are exactly the same, just different colors. If you need a small golf sized ball, this set is not for you. Disappointed because I really needed the smaller ball but will get some use out of what was supplied.

A bit difficult to use
I didn’t know what lacrosse balls were like, but thought since so many people suggested using them that I would give it a try. They were smaller than I expected and a bit difficult to work with for me. I wanted them to use on hamstrings and IT band area, in particular. I tried using them on the floor, but I have carpet and it seemed like the ball just sank down in the carpet. They are too small to use against the wall on hamstrings. Finally, my son-in-law suggested sitting on my desk (all my chairs are cushioned).I didn’t notice the smell that some people complained about, so maybe they have fixed that problem.I don’t think they are too hard at all.I am not going to return them, but will try to figure out how to use them better. I am mostly disappointed in the size, but a lacrosse ball is a lacrosse ball and many articles say that is what should be used. Verdict is still out on them.

Works well
I really like these they work really well my only complaint is I wish they were larger. Otherwise they work great. They are Very firm so you can lean up against something and I will get the right spot. You can push as hard or as soft as you want. I like to push really hard because I have sore muscles. I really like them.

Ahhh – it hurts so good!
Where have these been all my life?! Have I been looking for the wrong type of balls this whole time?? So, I purchased these months ago – had them in the shipment box until the other night. I’m so mad at myself for not using these things the minute I got them!! I purchased these because I get a lot of tension headaches and I have a ton of knots. I go to a masseuse every few months specifically for these reasons…however, I’m rarely ever satisfied with my experience. This past weekend, I had scheduled a massage – which I was obviously very excited about. I needed some relief from the undefeatable tension headache. After 90 minutes (yes, 90!), I think I walked out with an even greater headache. I couldn’t wait to get out of there and I was pissed! Massages are not cheap. The next night – in a desperate attempt to cure my headache somehow – I pulled these bad boys out. Put one up against a wall and leaned back into it. With a little bit of leg work, I could not believe what was happening. They were hitting all the right spots! So many knots all over my shoulders, shoulder blades, neck, lower back – you name it. And these babies go deep! Seriously, a human can never apply that much pressure to tackle those deep rooted knots. The best part is you are the dominant one here!!!! You get full control! You control how much pressure you want to apply, where you want the balls to move, etc. You even get a bit of a workout out of it! I’m telling you – you may have to stretch and hold your body in certain ways to hit the right spots. Only thing that may be a bit annoying is that when you use one on your neck, it kinda pulls your hair….but some people might actually be into that type of thing…These things are a game changer – seriously! I no longer have to waste money on the hope that I’ll get a decent massage! Highly highly recommend! You will not be disappointed with these balls!

Fits the chuckit
Use these for the chuckit when playing fetch with our dogs. The ball is easier to throw further, and holds up better than a tennis ball. The orange color means that when the dogs lose it, we can find it easily. Used to use a green ball. That did not work so well.

Versatile and functional
I didn’t know I needed these balls until a friend showed them to me. I use them to stretch my feet, roll on tight muscles, and they are fantastic for getting out knots in the back. I know that there are many other ways to use them that I haven’t explored. They wash up well when they get dusty.

BE CAREFUL USING
I had mildly sore feet from working out, so I got these balls thinking that it would help loosen up my tension like a foot rub. I guess I must have rolled them too hard or too long, or the balls themselves are just too hard, because both of my feet swelled up painfully within a few hours. I could barely walk and it took about two days worth of taking ibuprofen and icing for my feet to get back to normal. I don’t have plantar fasciitis or any other foot ailments, so maybe this just was too intense for me.

Lacrosse Balls extra set of hands
Dealing with a sciatic nerve in my lower backside. I’ve done several exercises to relieve the pain. However, the location was in a place I couldn’t quite get in a position to manipulate the nerve / area. These balls are like an extra set of hands (extension) to help me reach the point area(s). I’ve watched some YouTube videos on techniques to use the balls, which were really helpful.

Kieba Massage Lacrosse Balls
I love these self massaging balls for myofascial release, trigger point therapy and relieving muscle knots. It’s simple to use once you get a hang of it. It does take a bit of practice and some patience for the first few times. Full disclosure, you will drop them while you are working your tight muscles and knots. Don’t lose patience and get frustrated. You will get better as time goes by. I get so relaxed when using them that I fall asleep while on my feet doing it. It does wonders for those who experience sciatica discomfort after a couple of times of using it. If you’re stiff and suffer from stiff back, neck and shoulder discomfort do yourself a favor and get them.

Life Changing
Purchased these to work gluteus muscles surrounding the iliac crest as recommended by my massage therapist. I thought I had reached the beginning of the end with regards to pain and mobility. I’ve been suffering from pelvic discomfort since my 3rd pregnancy 3 years ago, which has become sciatica. I truly believe I have just found the way to fix myself. I’m relieved and elated. I have released muscles I didn’t know I had. I haven’t felt this way in years. It gives a whole new meaning to the term “tight ass.” LOL! Once you loosen up those inner glutes, it frees your mind, body, and soul. I am once again hopeful that I will not loose mobility in my old age. I have to add that using these properly seems to take mindfulness and body intuition so don’t get discouraged if it takes a few tries for full muscle release.
