The smell isn’t super strong, but it is noticeable. Smells more like butterscotch to me, but I can also smell a creme soda scent which is what I think they were going for. It’s definitely not a straight vanilla smell, it has that buttery tinge to it. But if you like either of those scents, you’ll like this one! After a while of being on skin, I noticed the smell takes on this weird medicinal scent to it but maybe that’s just my skin reacting with it.(If you are tempted to taste it, I’d say don’t. It tastes very bland and slightly bitter. Don’t let the smell fool you.)I’ve found it stays massageable for a very long time. You only need a little, because a little goes a long way. Some massage oils absorb too fast and you have to just re-apply and re-apply, but this seems to have some staying power. And when you’ve had enough, I’ve found it’s easy to wipe up, no matter how much or how little there is on the body. (It doesn’t take forty million towels to wipe up, thank god.) Still, it’s pure oil so I’d say put some disposable towels (not your nice guest towels) or something for any spillage or clean-up.And I washed my hands after using it and it leaves them dry, non-greasy and also baby smooth 🙂 Little side bonus.

A great massage oil with a nice vanilla scent. Personally there can never be too much vanilla but scent here is probably a good balance for everyone. Definitely has strong moisturizing qualities. I appreciate the plant based ingredients. The less chemicals, the better. Tocopheryl Acetate is derived from Vitamin E as the only non-plant based ingredient. Those with sensitive skin will love this.

This oil is not too greasy and absorbs nicely into skin. Scent is not too overpowering or strong, just subtle enough. No fragrance headaches at all. Not perfumery or artificial smell. Would like if it came with a pump instead of flip too but ad it isn’t a screw off lid.

Honest review! My wife said that it did make her muscles feel a bit better. I didn’t taste it at all but she liked the scent may not be for everyone but if your looking for something that helps muscle soreness this is good stuff
