The pair I received for Amazon Vine testing was the type shown in the top-most photo of the 5 photos shown on the Amazon page. I don’t know what one calls this type of closure, “knob through the loop”?? but this was the type I received. These knob through the loop closures only work well on thin material, like stockings, or perhaps, panties or other thin lingerie. The straps I received were well-made, adjusted easily, and held firmly both on stockings and other thin lingerie. In my experience, the duckbill closure, shown in photo #3 down from the top, only works well on thicker materials. This is often the closure seen on sock-garters, and also on men’s suspenders. If these were the types received by the other reviewers, I’m sure they had issues with the closure holding thin materials. I notified Amazon of the discrepancy in the photos & hopefully this will get cleared up and people can get what they want.
