So I’ve been working from home for the past 9 months, like so many, and my WFH set up is significantly less ergonomic and comfortable than my regular office set up. This has led to quite a bit of hunching and weird positions. I was mostly okay until about a month ago I had a three day headache which no amount of migraine or aspirin would touch. Finally my boyfriend gave me a neck massage and said that he could feel a massive knot at the back of my neck and into my shoulders and that my muscles were insanely tight. That massage relieved my headache, the background neckache that I hadn’t even noticed and I was able to focus again.Now, as kind as he is, a daily massage is probably not going to happen, so I went looking for something that would allow him not to develop carpal tunnel from trying to relieve my pain. Enter this strange looking massage device. I decided to take a risk because it was on sale over Black Friday/Cyber Monday and it seemed like at the very least it could be a heating pad of sorts. It arrived today and I tried it out and the only reason I waited a few hours to write this review was because I had work to do in between. THIS THING IS AMAZING!!!!My neck pain is gone, it works fantastic on the lower back, and it feels like a real human massaging you, but not in a creepy way. The balls moving inside feel quite sturdy so you can press it down on you and it doesn’t feel like it will collapse or anything. It changes direction every minute or so, to make it feel less repetitive. The heat was nice, I didn’t use it on the heat setting for long as I was already warm, but it seems relaxing. I will say you have to shift it around to access different areas, but that’s no different than having a human massage, they can only reach one place at a time.There is a slight motor sound, obviously, which pulses as the balls move, but it’s not super loud. I would say headphones on not very loud would drown it out completely, and it probably wouldn’t wake someone sitting next to the user unless they were a very light sleeper.The quality of the fabric this is wrapped in is fine. It’s not extraordinarily lush, but for the price I was impressed, it seems stitched together fine, and it’s not something that will get intense wear, you use it while you’re sitting, it’s not going to haul firewood, and it probably won’t last 30 years, but I wouldn’t expect it to. It seems well built for what it is.It comes with a regular wall plug (you have to be plugged in to use it, it is NOT battery operated) and a car adapter dongle thing. The wall plug worked fine.In short, if you have some back/neck/lumbar pain or tightness, I 100% recommend this thing. Obviously if you have severe pain or persistent issues you should see a doctor before use, but if you, like me, have hacked together a work from home space that maybe doesn’t encourage the best posture/ergonomic habits and are suffering the consequences, I ABSOLUTELY recommend this little thing. Sure, it’s no substitute for a human massage, but until the pandemic is resolved, in person massages are probably not an option right now, so this little friend makes a good substitute!!

Arrived quickly in new perfect condition. Easy to plug in and use. Nice leathery material. Feels amazing on my lower neck and helps the blood flow. Has an automatic timer to turn off 15 minutes. I really like the you can hold onto the bottom handles to easily move it up and down or side to side or hold tighter to get a firmer massage or lighter. Recommending this to everyone I know as self care. So worth it.

Not only does this work on my neck and back but I tried it on my upper calf where I get Charlie horses and it is amazing.

I bought this for my husband for his many aches and pains. It is his new go-to relief device for the rollers, heat used separately or together. It’s electric and has a long enough cord.The controls are on the left front side. It runs on a cycle with automatic shutdown, at which he turns it on. He has used it on his calves as he has had some cramps it alleviated.It is a great and unexpected gift item that he has used immediately and several times.

I’m obsessed with this massager. I tried one on at a county fair last week that they were selling for upwards of $100, I ALMOST purchased it because of how amazing it felt but I took a moment browsed Amazon and found this bad boy.I carry most of my tension in my neck and shoulders which leads to bad migraines. It even led to me avoiding upper body workout days. Not anymore with this lovely little machine, this gets in all those hard to reach nooks and crannies and gently but firmly gets rid of those knots. I’m so excited to see my massage therapist and hear her feedback on my lack of knots! I’ll probably buy a few of these as Christmas presents, they’re worth every penny.
