    My partner loves receiving massages. Who doesn’t?My biggest gripe with using lotion or even some oils is that they tend to get absorbed quickly, pill up, and don’t provide enough slide.After lighting this candle before taking a shower. It was melted enough by the time I finished to use for a massage.I didn’t want to burn my partner so I blew the flame out, than poured some melted wax/oil onto my hand first. It was hot, but not too hot. I poured what I thought was a medium amount (the amount I would use of lotion for a massage). I used a little too much that I found myself trying to get rid of some of the excess on their arms. They didn’t mind.I was able to slip, slide, and dig into tight, knotted, sore muscles for a long time without the oil getting sticky nor needing to apply more.My biggest takeaway is to use massage oil for giving massages instead of lotion.I will be using this again! Maybe next time, my partner will use it on me.

    You light the candle for about 20-30 minutes and it should melt enough of the wax for a massage. During the melting, the scent from the candle isn’t too strong which is a good thing as I don’t want it to be overpowering when you spread this around, a little will go a long way. This is less of a wax and more like a silky oil. It will stay on your skin and not absorb right in. The price isn’t bad because you could get a lot of massages out of this product.

    This candle has a light, pleasant fragrance that doesn’t become overpowering after burning for a while. I was drawn to the combination of botanical fragrances and like it so much I will likely keep one on hand at all times. Very relaxing.I haven’t noticed any unusual smoke, so it seems to burn clean.I really like the jar it comes with. What a great feature if you’re using it for massage or even paraffin therapy.This candle comes beautifully packaged and would be very giftable.

    I like the pleasant floral scent of this candle. The packaging is perfect for gift giving. The easy pour spout makes using the massage oil easy and without making too much of a mess. The candle doesn’t have much of a throw when lit, but the massage oil does leave a light scent on the skin. I used a small amount of the oil on my elbows as a test, and it didn’t irritate my skin.

    This candle arrived in perfect condition well packed inside of a retail box. I tested it by lighting it and allowing it to heat up for around 30 minutes. Then let it sit for about 10 minutes until the wax was soft, but not runny. Word of caution: a little goes a long way! You don’t need much for massage as I used maybe two peas worth and it was more than I needed for a back massage.The resulting wax / massage oil had a nice scent and was easy to work with on the neck and shoulders. Allowed for using a scraper as well as hands. Definitely recommend!
