Dreamgirl Women’s Sheer Thigh High Pantyhose Hosiery Nylons Stockings with Comfort Lace Top Anti-Slip Silicone Elastic Band

I have spent years wearing the standard hosiery, usually with a control top. I’m not sure manufacturers even make typical hose without a controlling something going on. I can’t stand wearing hose because of this. I am dying by the end of a couple of hours any longer and those nasty control tops end up giving me a stomach ache. Finally solved this problem by going with a comfortable garter belt. Next problem…comfortable thigh highs. Almost all manufacturers want to sell thigh highs with silicone bands or something similar to hold onto your leg in a vice grip. Even people with 10% body fat can’t beat the physics of leg muffin top in those things. I specifically bought these Dreamgirl thigh highs for the lack of vice grip silicone or rubber stay-put. They fit beautifully on me with no tight hugging and they lay smoothly on my thigh. The garter belt will actually have to do some work and hold these up. They will slide down to just above my knee without the belt. Here’s a more specific fit. I’m 5’2″ size 10/12 US. I ordered Queen because I wanted a loose fit that would go up higher on my leg (I want discreet under a shorter skirt, no flashing). These lay smoothly on my upper thigh (24″) about an inch under my butt. Perfect fit for me and how I want to wear hose.

I am 5’7″ tall, athletic build, with a 38DD bust, 35-36″ waist and 42″ hips, average length legs for my height and muscular with a little fat. I am 53, so I am not young and super fit, and I wear an XL to 2X (usually to accommodate my bust), but in pants, a 12-14, and I am still shapely for my age.These easily came up to my mid thigh without much effort, but I could have pulled them a little higher (to my upper thigh) with a good sturdy garterbelt. The one I used was integrated into a piece of lingerie and it was not a sturdy but more costumy. They DO NOT have the silicone strips at the very top under the lace, so you WILL NEED a garterbelt of some sort, because they will not stay up on their own. My husband works construction and never has super soft hands, so snagging can be a problem with some hose, but these are smooth, fairly sheer in a nice way, and seem more sturdy. No snags at all with use in the bedroom. I have worn them once for a long session and they are still in perfect condition and I expect to get several more uses out of them with proper care and washing (garment bag on gentle cycle with mild soap, air dry). When these wear out, I will order another pair, as they are a great bargain. They are somewhat looser on my legs, which I like, but more slender women may have them hanging. If you are a bit larger, I believe the fit would still be fine, but I am not sure if you are firmly in the plus sizes. I guess it would depend on how much weight/muscle you carry in your legs.

These were great to wear, didn’t look weird on my thighs like some tighter thigh highs do. Only problem is that I NEED a garter belt with these, as they don’t stay up for 5 seconds alone when I’m walking or moving in them. Other than that, they’re great!

A bit large, had some sag in the knees after a while. I’m not plus size but usually have to get due to my height of 5’9″ – worked out nicely, and stayed up!
