This product from Astroglide can be a bit deceiving at first. For instance, if used regularly without toys, it just feels like the original Astroglide. One might be tempted to conclude that it is just the original formula with a different label.But when you use it with toys as intended, it does make a difference! It is hard to explain, but it does something different to the surface of toys that it’s not noticeable on the skin alone when toys are not used. It creates like some sort of “film” (for lack of a better word). I am not a chemist to understand formulas and ingredients, but it seems this lube just interacts differently with the materials used in toys – especially ones made from silicone – when compared to the original Astroglide.The longevity is about the same as the original Astroglide. So it dries out relatively fast (which is typical for most water based lubes).
